Comment(by corbet):

 The message is merely saying that user space is not keeping up with the
 frame rate, so frames are being dropped.  Not surprising given that
 there's no video acceleration - and certain other longstanding
 inefficiencies in the driver that I intend to correct shortly.

 It is true, though, that the driver should not spam the system log in this
 way.  The best thing, probably, to switch the printk to dev_dbg, or to
 just delete it outright.  I'll do that.
