Comment:

 Implemented by svn 2260.

 To test in the case environment:

 ok true to diag-switch?
 ok test /audio


 The "loopback cable" is an audio cable with miniature stereo phone plugs
 on both ends.

 To test a bare board with the special speaker/microphone fixture:

 ok true to diag-switch?
 ok 1 to test-station
 ok test /audio

 To show the system impulse response:

 ok true to diag-switch?
 ok dev /audio  true to plot?  dend
 ok test /audio

 First the left channel impulse response is shown, then hit a key to cycle
 to the right channel's, then hit a key to continue.  Notice that the
 right-channel response is of lower magnitude than the left for the
 internal test, because the right speaker is much farther from the
 microphone.
