Comment(by dsd):

 This is working as described. However, the behaviour seems strange.

 - change file 'test.py' on usb stick to be called 'test_changed.py' and
 hit enter

 - the device is rescanned and the entry is named 'test_changed'

 Why did it drop the .py extension on the display?
