 More info on this one:

 Steps to reproduce:

 - go to the Journal and drag an item onto a USB-key.

 ---> the view keys and the frame and Journal keys will not work anymore,
 all the other keys do still work

 The case described in the initial description (no keys work) might be
 related, though not fully sure yet.
