 Symptom: XO-1 OpenFirmware Q2E45 keymap corruption.

 Diagnosis: keyboard self test shows map is corrupt or incorrectly chosen,
 escape key does not give ok prompt, brightness up key gives ok prompt,
 external USB keyboard escape key gives ok prompt.

 Triggering firmware versions: Q2D07, Q2D08.

 Triggering condition: on an XO-1 with ALPS keyboard (three area touchpad),
 reproduce bug #10597 (real-time clock year set to or rollover to 2011 and
 later, then power up and boot), then upgrade firmware to Q2E45, then power
 up and boot.  Does not occur on an XO-1 with ENE keyboard (single area
 touchpad).

 Condition clearing actions:

  * remove battery and external power, then boot, or

  * " select /rtc get-time set-time bye "
