 I encountered the "keyboard stops to work" condition in one situation
 where I am NOT going to write a ticket (because it was the user who
 created the situation):

 I was installing a new build, and in Terminal had manually added over a
 hundred Activities.  I then pressed F3.  Apparently the Sugar 'Home View'
 routine (or the Python routines it calls) needed MORE THAN A MINUTE to
 catalog these Activities, and produce the "ring" with their icons -- and
 while Python was being busy, the system would process no further
 keystokes.

 [A minute is far longer than my patience, when waiting for the keyboard.]
