 That fedora bug is unrelated.

 dracut-modules-olpc-0.5.8 ships /etc/dracut-olpc-*.conf designed for use
 with --conf. kernel build process now uses this. docs will appear soon at
 http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Dracut-modules-olpc
