Comment(by dsd):

 Given that sugar-settings-daemon is not yet an official part of Sugar, and
 that it causes this bug, and that it's said to cause problems with Browse,
 and that it's not yet really useful because there is no UI for changing
 font size, I agree with the plan of action: get fedora to drop their non-
 upstream patch that enables the settings daemon, returning to the vanilla
 sugar setup that should work OK.
