 So the issue is the following: You can customize the Sugar+Activities
 default font size by a
 [http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Features/Font_configuration gconf key]. When
 implementing that feature the idea was to implement as well an
 [http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Features/Font_configuration#Current_status
 xsettings daemon] which would allow to change the font size on the fly.

 A settings daemon has been packaged for Fedora and the Fedora 0.90 sugar
 /sugar-toolkit package depend on it and are patched to use it. Removing
 those deps and patches will get us the correct font size back and setting
 the font via gconf does work fine (you have to restart Sugar to take
 effect).
