Comment:

 On os20, runin logs show ''Grabbed suspend lock after 2'', which indicates
 the locking is correctly functioning ... and if the EC is held in reset
 the suspend lock is not grabbed, flock hangs, because the light sensor
 rate test is frozen.  On this basis, I declare the problem solved.
