 Browse on os18 on XO-1.75 crashes with sigabrt after loading most of
 http://www.hgpauction.com/?auctionid=159 -- Browse on os882 on XO-1.5 does
 not crash

 gdb doesn't seem very happy about doing backtraces, even before the crash.

 from memory the browse log had xwindows errors in it. I can attach that
 tomorrow if it helps reproduction.
