Comment:

 Thanks.  This is #11357 and #11492.  The serial port should show
 scsi_wait_scan modprobe in D state in response to ''ps ax''.  Please
 advise if this is not the case.  On the assumption that it is, since I've
 seen the same symptom here, I'm closing this ticket as a duplicate.
