Comment:

We have two XO-1.75s. This problem affects only one of them, the one with
the clicky keyboard. The membrane keyboard unit does not have the extra
screws under the battery release slides -- I'm not sure if this suggests
it has an old production bottom half?

I swapped the bottom halves between our clicky keyboard XO-1.75 and Tank,
a prototype XO-1.5. The mouse problem followed the touch pad with
identical jumpy behaviour when plugged into the XO-1.5.

The XO-1.75 performed normally with the XO-1.5's touch pad.

The touch pad assembly is different in these two laptops. Is there
anything you want me to record (model number? from where?). One has a blue
circuit board and the other a green one, I'll post photos shortly.
