 Reported by Tom Parker on XO-1.75 B1, reproduced here using OpenFirmware
 "test /mouse".

 The pointer makes jumps of between one third and one sixth of a screen
 dimension, either in X or Y coordinate, rarely both.  The frequency of the
 jumps increases with use of the touchpad buttons.

 Relative humidity 52%, air temperature 18C, with power cable connected or
 disconnected.

 Affects both membrane and mechanical keyboard models.
