Comment:

 I've tried duplicating.  Using a CL1C, and a CL1B (Revision L, OLPC D7),
 fs-update os860, used ''playmus'' in virtual console, allowed ''playmus''
 to finish playing, then started ''TamTamMini'', and the audio output was
 not unusual at all.

 Andy: could you please describe the abnormality?  Did you do anything to
 prevent idle suspend?

 Reuben: have you tested SKU143-os1 on CL1B?  What OLPC OS is it based on?
 I was going to check, but the activities and packages text files weren't
 in the download directory.
