 Duplicate of http://dev.laptop.org/ticket/11082

 When you hold down the check key (or in fact any keys), OFW suppresses the
 startup sound, in order to prevent conflicts between the sound and
 operations like test-all .

 That has the side effect of triggering bug 11082 .
