 svn 2392 added the ability to show numeric startup progress messages when
 the check key is held down.

 But if all the numbers show properly, when OFW detects the a game key is
 held down, it does not alter the screen resolution back to normal, making
 OFW verbose messages shown due to the check key unreadable onscreen.

 If what I really wanted to see is the latter, I usually hold down the
 check key prior to pressing the power button, which causes the former to
 show as well.
