Uruguay.
Has anyone investigated a port of Gnumeric done the same way we did Write?
The design appears to be similar, with the spreadsheet engine available in
a shared library which could be embedded in a simple Python UI. Bindings
appear to be missing.
If nobody has time to do this work, what about running the unmodified
gnumeric binary wrapped with Albert Cahalan's sugarize tool? Thanks to the
switch to Metacity, Sugar 0.88+ has good support for running native Gnome
applications. It might not strictly follow the Sugar HIG, but still more
usable than a broken SocialCalc, right?
