     Type: defect | Status: new
 Priority: low | Milestone:

---------------------------------+------------------------------------------
On reflash from Q3A62 to Q3A62a, the following behaviours may be observed:

  * on first power up, OpenFirmware may detect one or all game keys down,
resulting in pong or life demo activation,
  * battery indicator LED may not light when it should,
  * if external DC is present on power up, keyboard type may be incorrectly
detected, resulting in incorrect keys registering in Linux,
  * Linux may report inability to communicate with the EC, if the external
DC is added after a boot without external DC,
  * if the battery is absent on power up, powerd may immediately shutdown
 the laptop shortly after boot.

Removing battery and external DC power clears the behaviours.

 pgf has patch.
