Comment(by erikos):

 2) "detail view, copy-palette updated when inserting a usb key": the code
 does only populate the detail view once, when the view is constructed. If
 you reveal the detail view of an entry, insert an usb stick and then
 reveal the palette the palette is not updated. If you switch back to the
 main view and then to the detail view the palette is updated and have the
 option to copy to the external device.
