 svn 1841 had the unintended side effect of preventing the setup of the
 vendor-node registers in the Conexant HDAudio CODEC, thus leaving the
 thermal protection disabled.

 Simple test:

 ok unselect

 <resume by pressing power button>
 ok select /audio
 ok vendor a9000 cmd? .
 ok unselect
 }}}

 The displayed result should be "a8" in both cases, but the bug causes it
 to be "0".
