 Yes by "hidden" I meant I was using a network where the ESSID was not
 being broadcast.  Obviously one can get the ESSID when a computer probes
 around trying to connect to the AP.

 I believe I was using both XO 1.5's and an XO 1 for this testing.

 I wouldn't be surprised if the "None" was really a Python None as in
 something was undefined.
