In 10.1.3 build 351 with an XO 1, I noticed that in Sugar's global
"box"-like frame two network icons appear if a mesh network is selected
for use either automatically (as it is on first boot) or manually. The
second is completely uncolored, and lacks text describing anything about
 its network.

This also appears in 10.1.2 (but with the ability to create an ad-hoc
network as a text menu item) as well as an early F14 XO build. This does
not appear to happen in 8.2.1.

I believe this second icon represents the non-mesh-mode 802.11 radio being
 disabled/unused.
