 G'day Tom.  I think I know what is happening.  Could you make it happen
 again, and this time watch the power LED that is the right-most LED
 closest to the power button.  If sound stops and this LED has gone out,
 then it means the laptop has suspended because it isn't being used.  You
 can turn this feature off in the control panel, in the section "Power",
 where it is called "Automatic power management".
