 The WLAN card was not spotted in Linux; the only network interface present
 was the loopback one.  I did not look at dmesg yet to see if anything
 funny was happening.

 Unfortunately I did not bring this XO home for the Thanksgiving holiday so
 looking at it will have to wait for Monday.

 This is however the same broken custom-built XO-1.5 C3 I mentioned in an
 email sent to an internal mailing list about 12 hours ago.
