 I have SMC2208USB/ETH adapters.

 Unless "aging" of circuitry has occurred, it is those exact same physical
 adapters (and those same physical XO-1s) that I've been using for almost
 three years.  Yet with the introduction of F14 I'm now randomly seeing
 this "rebooting of the system does not complete" problem -- whereas I did
 not notice this problem with F11-based (or F9, or F7) builds in my XOs.
