Comment(by erikos):
I tested the current updater with pages that contain bad data. For example
'87.1peru' is not a valid version ('87.1-peru' would be). The good news
is. The updater does still work when hitting those pages. What confused me
a bit is that when there is one activity that has a non valid version the
updater seems to hit others - that are not part of our activity wiki page.
One example is:
{{{
{{Activity
|icon = [[Image:Sunrise.svg|40px]]
|activity_name = [[SunriseActivity]]
|activity_description = This activity generates a table of the times
for sunrise, sunset, moonrise and moonset.
|activity_id = org.laptop.Sunrise
|activity_bundle =
[http://www.wa1gsf.net/downloads/XO/Sunrise-2.xo]
|activity_source = in the bundle
|activity_version = 2.0 - Beta 2
|build = tested on 767 and 802.
|mime_types =
|i18n = POT supplied, en only
|comments =
|tags = astronomy
|devel_status = 4-Beta
}}
}}}
The activities are listed at: http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Activities or
http://wiki.laptop.org/go/Activities/All
It seems like the updater is looking up in other pages when there is an
activity with a false version. I mean nothing is broken, so not too
worrying but would maybe nice to know what is happening.
