#10477: XO-1 F14 - Request that at the beginning of an Activity's launch a "start
off" screen be immediately inserted at the 'Activity View' zoom level

On F14 XO-1 (os2), with no Activities running, launch an Activity (e.g.,
Terminal) by clicking on its icon within Home View. There is a brief
change of focus -- then the __Journal__ gets shown on screen -- then the
Animator splash screen (with pulsing icon) finally takes over the display.

I have not looked at the code -- but the observed sequence of events would
be explained if the following assumptions were true:
  * Clicking on the Activity's icon causes focus to switch from Home View
(where the click took place) to Activity View (where the launched Activity
 will be running)
  * At this time, the __only__ "current Activity" is Journal -- so that is
what gets displayed at the Activity View zoom level.
  * Finally, the Animator screen (with pulsing icon) gets put in as the
"current screen" at the Activity View zoom level -- and that is what the
user sees (until the Activity launches, or fails)..
 ----
My request is that, AS SOON AS it is decided that an activity-launch is to
be performed, a screen associated with launching be inserted as the
"current screen" in the Activity View zoom level.

It is o.k. with me if this "to start off" screen by the activity-launch
procedure is completely blank -- that is, there is no need to WAIT until
the icon appropriate to the about-to-be-launched Activity has been
rendered. What IS important is to __not confuse__ the viewer by showing
something (such as the Journal) that is *unrelated* to the about-to-be
 launched Activitiy.

Sooner or later, the "real" Animator pulsing-icon screen is going to
replace the "to start off" screen. In the meantime, the user is not being
misled by by unrelated stuff on the display.
 ----
Note - this problem is related to
 http://wiki.sugarlabs.org/go/Pulsing_icon_delayed_by_5_seconds -- but the
description of http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2080 claims that a white
window is shown until the launcher's splash screen (with pulsing Activity
icon) appears. I myself am willing to tolerate seeing a white window
 (that eventually goes away).

What I am NOT willing to tolerate (even briefly) is the intrusion of being
shown the __Journal__ -- when what I wanted was to go directly from Home
 View over to Terminal.
