 I normally boot with the check key, to see boot progress.  Already on the
 developers-only release of F14 for XO-1, sometimes the scrolling
 initialization messages showed trace output lines -- then I knew this boot
 attempt would fail -- it would stall, often soon after some kind of
 'modprobe' message.  My usual bypass when this occurs is to power down the
 XO-1 and try again.

 I am now experiencing the same occasional (random) boot failures with the
 new os2 build on the XO-1 (on more than one system).  Unfortunately, the
 initialization messages scroll by too fast for me to see what the first
 thing to go wrong is.
