 This ticket is a bit vague, but I think I can split it into its various
 components.

 Clipboard images lacking previews in the journal is #6667 (and lacking
 good names is #5751).

 Dragging a picture from the journal to the clipboard and then to write
 works in 10.1.3 os353 (Write 63.1).

 But if you select the pasted picture within Write, press ^C to copy it,
 delete it, and then use ^V to paste the result back into Write, that is
 broken, and may seemingly paste nothing or an empty frame.  Dragging the
 copied picture from the Frame or using the Edit menu's paste button seems
 to work.

 ^C/^V works for text though.  I know this is two years old, but is that
 what the original bug was?
