 setting to 120% ?

There are two separate issues here in two different tickets (at least how
I read them; pardon me if I'm wrong). This ticket is about software
upgrades reducing the audio level on the XO-1, and the "Capture" AC97
 control relates to recording.

When a XO-1 has this control set lower by default in 10.1.2/.3 versus an
XO-1 in 8.1.2 having the control by default at 100%, the recording level
went down as one might expect. Setting the Capture control identically at
100% prior to starting the Record activity solved much if not all of the
 issue.

Ticket #10235 deals with the difference in XO 1.5/1.0 audio levels, and
they have different audio chipsets/mixers/etc, with the XO-1.5 showing
less mixer controls to work with & tweak. That is a more complex issue to
 deal with.
