 On an A1 prototype motherboard (#4), w. OFW Q4A00 and some pre-release
(powers on immediately, but stable, e.g. keyboard works) EC code
 installed.

This motherboard had its software upgraded and was placed in a CL1B
(C-test) case. It was tested, transported, and tested again. The back
was removed. Upon pressing the power button, the power LED turned on,
but there was no video or backlight. There was no activity on the serial
 ports.

By connecting JTAG, it was verified that the SoC was relatively happy, and
we could talk with CForth. When trying to reflash a firmware onto the SPI
Flash ROM, however, the "SPI FLASH write enable timed out" message was
 printed.
