 I was testing the new powerd-29 build on 10.1.3 os351 by opening and
 closing the lid of several XO's, and an XO-1 managed to partially hang
 itself.

 While the user interface/keyboard was still usable on that machine, no USB
 device plugged into the system could be recognized, and the system seems
 to think that its wireless card is gone even though future suspend/resume
 cycles show networkmanager commenting about the rfkill switch being
 disabled and then enabled.

 Analysis of /var/log/messages shows USB and i2c errors around 10:52:13
 [144 seconds after boot], followed by the failure to suspend a process ~20
 seconds later.  This makes the issue similar to #8301, but I am not kernel
 savvy enough to track down what happened.
