 Hi pauldeb, I would have emailed help at laptop.org first as you have a
 general problem that might have been able to be addressed there. This
 report does not have enough details to warrant a bug report. You did not
 indicate: XO-1 or 1.5, which Sugar build/release, what you tried before,
 any damage that the laptop might have had, firmware version, etc. At
 help at laptop.org, we would have tried to assess this and then asked you to
 file a bug report after both of us has tried common debugging procedures
 for the XO. The easiest fix is to backup old data if needed and reinstall
 Sugar and make sure the EC was reset.
