 Thanks for testing that so quickly.  On the XO1 here is the culprit.

 basesrc gstbasesrc.c:2584:gst_base_src_start:<camsrc> error: Could not
 negotiate format

 For some reason the XO1 camera does not support the same resolutions as
 the XO 1.5.  Could you switch to the Video section of Record and change
 the quality settings.  This will attempt to set a different resolution on
 the camera.
