 For the "Add Attachment to Ticket" page with a URL containing
 ''dev.laptop.org/attachment/ticket/'', trac sends this HTML to your
 browser:
 {{{
 <input type="file" name="attachment" />
 }}}
 and everything you describe subsequent to loading the page is done by your
 browser, not by trac.

 I suggest you move to a more recent version of Firefox, to see if that
 fixes the symptom.
