 OK, turns out I'd not pushed the 2.6.34 version either.  I've now pushed
 patched into both the olpc-2.6.31-cam and olpc-2.6.34-jc branches to put
 them back into fully interrupt-driven mode.  I should have thought to do
 this; sorry you had to ask.
