<Quozl> smithbone: just back from a trip to town, XO-1.5 C1 that I
carried is flashing red battery LED, attaching external DC makes no
change, Sugar says Charged 69%, restarting to OFW and watch-battery
says "69% 19.98V -0.00A 56C error"
<smithbone> Quozl: when watch-battery exits it will tell you what
the error is.
<Quozl> LiFe Over Voltage
...
<Quozl> Q3A37.
<smithbone> 19.98V?
<Quozl> Indeed.
...
<smithbone> Quozl: I suspect you have found yet a different
flavor of ESD corruption.
<Quozl> History; unit fully charged, disconnected from DC, took it
to town, used in town for half an hour, shut the lid, brought it
back home. Passed a strong television tower. Yes, it's a high ESD
potential day today.
<smithbone> Quozl: I shall make the code discard voltage readings
from the sensor that are way out like that.
<Quozl> Okay, anything further you would like me to do on this
unit before I use my initiative?
<smithbone> Quozl: file a trac so I don't lose it?
<Quozl> smithbone: ok.
<smithbone> thans
<Quozl> smithbone: new data; watch-battery shows -0.00A regardless
of presence of external DC.
<Quozl> smithbone: watch-battery correctly changes to "No battery"
when the battery is removed.
<smithbone> Quozl: When you get an error the battery system is
disabled.
<smithbone> Quozl: yep. battery removal/ec reboot are your only
options.
<Quozl> smithbone: inserted an alternate battery, all indications
good. removed it and inserted the original battery, all
indications back to normal, charging. 7.15V, 82%.
