 For what it's worth, I just tried this with a current version of the
 camera driver, and cheese works now.  It works *poorly*, mostly, it seems,
 because it spends all of its time cranking on something and falls way
 behind the video stream.  It would be good, maybe, to run a profile on
 cheese and see what it thinks it's doing...
