Comment:

 Actually, the BIOS drive mapping has nothing to do with it.  The real
 problem is that the Windows registry additions to permit the use of SD as
 a system root device were keyed to XO-1.  To work on XO-1.5, the registry
 key's unique ID for the SD card has to be changed.
