 This can cause the following command (as user ''olpc'') to pause with
 wireless LED flashing before showing full scan results:

 iwlist eth0 scan
 }}}

 ... even though the real scan was requested autonomously by Network
 Manager.  This coincidence can lead a user to believe that a real scan was
 requested by them.
