 We need to revert upstream commit 6d77444aca298b43a88086be446f943cd0442ef7
 from our 2.6.31 kernel for F11 (XO1).

 (we did this in 8.2 as 8815ea29a9bcbab2a3c7fbc28987cac67c2c41d0)

 This revert will cause a big decrease in speed of register writes so we
 should also forward-port 6e567510e7bbaf7734d406c125e74a02a329d431 from 8.2
 in order to avoid this.
