 I did not run many times, but with the patch applied I was NOT getting the
 segment fault.

 Please note that with Record-8x on the Paraguay 0.88 builds, I am getting
 a black "overlay" partially obscuring where Record shows the image on
 playback.  I do not have this "overlay" problem with Record-7x on the
 Paraguay 0.88 builds.  One clue is:  Sometimes the "normal" playback area
 has a triangular white lower right corner (to access the metadata for the
 object).  Sometimes this triangular white corner shows up at the same
 vertical/horizontal offset from the upper left corner of the black
 "overlay" area (instead of at that offset from the "normal" area).

 Record-82 would be a nicer Activity version without such an "overlay"
 problem.
