 if the system attempts to sleep at the same time thae the usb subsystem is
 (re)discovering the wlan device, the sleep may hang.

 reproduced on XO-1, but may exist on 1.5 since the hang occurs during
 firmware download.

 the race between suspend and device discovery happens at 355.026865 in the
 attached log.  the hung task is "khubd".
