Comment:

 Agreed, can't reproduce with current versions, and there is a "tick" at
 top right of the ''Name this entry'' dialog which allows stop regardless.
 The sequence of ''Name this entry'' and ''Keep error'' was reproduced (see
 [http://bugs.sugarlabs.org/ticket/2124 SL #2124]) in Measure-30 on XO-1.5
 os206.

 Addressing Mikus' concerns over bug closing procedure ...

 > when the developers could assure system users that (in decreasing order
 of preference): 1) the "name this Journal entry" panel had been provided
 with a 'cancel' button;

 The "tick" is a 'cancel' button. This is a reasonable assurance.

 > or 2) the "name this Journal entry" panel had been re-positioned on the
 screen so that it would not obscure potential error notifications;

 Not done, won't do. Would be nice. Ask Sugarlabs.

 > or 3) the "name this Journal entry" panel would be 'serialized' so that
 it would not appear as long as there were other panels on screen.

 This serialisation appears to function now.
