 The reason that I ask is in the absence of a real fix the next best thing
 is to disable ''High'' quality.

 In ''Low'' quality, recording of motion is continuous.  But on playback of
 the clip recorded in ''Low'' on an XO-1, the picture itself is not
 "sharp".  This is particularly noticeable when playing back using
 something like Jukebox, which scales the picture larger.

 The purpose of making a video clip is to show that clip to people.  In my
 opinion, what ''Low'' quality on Record (all versions) produces on the
 XO-1 is unacceptable for showing to others.  [Note:  I make my recordings
 at night, using not-very-bright electric illumination.]
