 We need to give new activities and collections, at aslo and elsewhere, and
 more visibility.  And we need to make finding and downloading an activity,
 once you hear about it, much faster and easier.  This should be built into
 sugar, it shouldn't require launching a web browser or remembering the
 aslo address.

 Proposal:

 1. add a local catalog of data about activities available online.
 1a. add a 'search' feature to the activities update screen that helps
 people look for activities without opening a browser.
 1b. implement a Sugar interface for browsing results of such a search that
 allows download and installation

 2. update the catalog when running a software update.
 2a. provide options to check for other catalogs
 2b. provide options to check for other softwaresets that could be updated
 to

 3. make searching for activities a more interesting aspect of the home
 views.
 3a. turn on the search box on the default Home view.
 3b. make this and the Favorites view search box search both the local
 machine's activities and the local catalog
