 If I recall correctly, I heard comments from CJB that he believes our
 kernel is too large or that is has grown significantly in size in
 comparison to the XO-1 kernel. If that is still the case, I don't see any
 problem with making it modular. If it is modular could olpc-os-builder to
 a check to see if it loaded and load it if not?
