 My XO-1.5, a B-1 pre-production, has the LO tag set to "en_US.UTF8". It
 should be "en_US.UTF-8" in order to be recognized by glibc.

 Setting LANG incorrectly causes a few problems to misbehave, issue warning
 and/or revert to the C locale.

 olpc-utils 1.0.25 contains a work-around which reverts to en_US.UTF-8 if
 the locale is missing.
