 On a couple of laptops updated to F11-0.88, wifi was not working. The eth0
 interface does not longer exist.

 From the kernel log (attached) it seems that eth0 was present at least for
 some time.

 Reloading the usb8xxx and libertas modules had no effect. Rebooting fixed
 the issue. I've never seen this issue with my previous kernel.
